Hello everyone,

The spring break is approaching and we have only one class before the break. And we are going to have another field trip next week, so please be aware that you come to the Student Service Building directly by 2PM next Tuesday (7th). Do NOT come to Stone building!

Anyway, let's review what we've done this week.

1. Blogpost #6
You all did a great job on BP#6. The topic is directly related to the web design assignment so that you may think of design for your website. I'd like to feature Josh's BP#6 and he made a great post in which he analyzed a basic structure of teachers' websites in Leon County High School.

2. ILP#1
Most of you posted about Tech Sandbox. For some who missed the field trip, check out Ashley's ILP#1. She posted some cool pictures and you may see what they have in the room.
In addition, Christina and Will made their presentations using Prezi. If you've not yet used this cool tool, simply check out how it looks.

Also Sydney made her classroom page using Edmodo. The group code is
xypir7.
Perhaps you've used Edmodo in middle/high school, so it's worth to try it out as teachers.

3. Checklist for Week9
  • Reading Chapter 4: Technology for Diverse Learners
  • Podcast: Adaptive Technology
  • Submit: Assignment 4: Web Page Design *Use Wix.com or Weebly.com*
  • Blog Post #7 + Watch Youtube videos (explained below)

4. Field Trip (2PM, Mar 7th, Tuesday)
We are going to have another field trip in the Assistive Technology Lab at FSU. It's located in Room #108 on the first floor at Student Service Building. This building is located with the Traditional Garage and Denny's restaurant.

So, we are going to meet in the building on the first floor by 2PM. Remember, do NOT come to Stone building!

5. Watch these videos before class.
In Youtube, Assistive Technology Channel shares 8 videos that shows different types of assistive technology used in action. I'd like to ask you to watch these representative 8 videos. They are helpful for your BP#7. And they are short.
