Week 11 Digest & Checklist for Week 12

Hi guys,
This week it was a little bit hard for me to get back to normal after the break. But, there is a good news -- we only have 5 more weeks til the end. In the remaining weeks, we are going to learn MS PowerPoint and MS Excel that you might be already familiar with... So don't worry about the remaining content in this course and just feel comfortable! I bet that you all will be fine with the remaining assignments.

1. Blog Post #8
Grading is completed and I was so surprised from the quality of your posts -- I'm so much satisfied! And I found that some of your posts had a high level of traffic. Have you guys check out those two posts that had much traffic?
Including these two, most of your posts were awesome! Be proud of yourself!

2. Featured Student in Week 11: Alec Blanchard
We had Alec in this week's featured student! Check out this post.

3. MS PowerPoint Basic + Assignment 5
At the beginning of class on Tuesday, I asked you about how you self-rate your PowerPoint skills and most of you said "at least medium". That sounds awesome. But I found that some of you didn't know some features in PowerPoint that I taught. That's fine.

We will learn more features in PowerPoint next week and will do practice it. I strongly believe that the assignment 5 is not much hard for all of you. But you might be struggling with the narration record feature but you will be figuring it out.

As always, feel free to DM or email me if you have any questions about AS5.

4. Skill Check #3 Prep
Let me say, "Don't worry about SC#3". I think that your current skill level regarding MS PowerPoint is enough for SC#3. So, just do your best in SC#3 next week.

5. Checklist for Week 12
  • No Blog Post -- Is it good?!
  • Skill Check 3 -- be prepared!
  • SUBMIT: AS5 -- Don't forget to submit TWO files (.pptx & .ppsx)
  • Final Group Project -- In next class, we will form groups for final project.
That's all. See you all on Tuesday!
