1. Blog Post #5

We've talked about Web 2.0 this week. You guys have mentioned MOOC, Edmodo, Prezi, Wikis, Blogs, Diigo, Google Docs, etc. These tools have great advantages for the classroom. Let me talk about Prezi. Prezi is basically a presentation making tool but it can be shared with others. I used Prezi in 2010 at first time. Yesterday I logged in my Prezie account and try to make a new presentation. What I was surprised about is that Prezi provides a lot of "templates" for users. I exactly remember that Prezi did not provide any templates in 2010. It's awesome. And it was totally a free software at that time, but now it includes different plans. For instance, if you want to make your presentations private, you need to change your account plan -- that's so sad. However, I found that Prezi has improved itself a lot. It includes various functions and they are all AWESOME.

2. Field Trip: COE TECH SANDBOX

We really enjoyed this field trip. You even have tweeted some pictures and I've already read your ILPs about this field trip. Having hand-on experiences about ed-tech is really important. Two weeks later, we will have another chance to have real experiences by another field trip!
